Whistler
The „whistler“ is a typical symbol of our local woodcarving history. Ever since 1904 this figure has been made in Triberg. Carved of soft linden-wood and of course hand-painted, he happily whistles his song “Oh. du lieber Augustin” or any other song after your own wishes. Inside in his invisible inner life, there is a mechanical work which starts the moving head, light and whistling. The work is still manufactured in the old traditional way of former days. It can also be built into any other figure.
Rocking Horses
These unique fully functioning rocking horses with real leather gear are carefully carved in our workshop. Much skill and above all talent is needed to create such precious pieces which recall memories of the past.
