Whistler |

| The „whistler“ is a typical symbol of our local woodcarving history. Ever since 1904 this figure has been made in Triberg. Carved of soft linden-wood and of course hand-painted, he happily whistles his song “Oh. du lieber Augustin” or any other song after your own wishes. Inside in his invisible inner life, there is a mechanical work which starts the moving head, light and whistling. The work is still manufactured in the old traditional way of former days. It can also be built into any other figure. | |
